We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Associate to join our Silvalea team in Newton Abbot, Devon. This is a full time, permanent role based at our office in Newton Abbot. 

Since 1993, Silvalea has been at the forefront of the patient sling market, designing and manufacturing a wide portfolio of transfer solutions. Our speciality is our complex patient lings and in-situ slings, as well as providing a range of everyday standard slings and transfer accessories. Silvalea is part of the Savaria Corporation and supported by Handicare Accessibility.

This role would be best suited to a motivated and well organised person who is also passionate about providing the best possible customer service experience.

Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with customers via phone and email

Silvalea Limited are looking to expand their team. The Customer Service and Admin Apprentice role will be assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day business administration and customer service duties through office-based work, whilst gaining underpinning knowledge from the apprenticeship training provider.

What will the apprentice be doing?

The successful candidate will be assisting the team at Silvalea Limited with the day-to-day business admin and customer service duties:

  • Liaising with customers via phone and email
  • Responding to requests from website, mobile app and customer portal
  • Assisting with training sessions
  • Administering product loans
  • Assisting with continual internal development
  • Utilising Sage 200, SICON and Microsoft Packages.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (RQF)

Sales Executives/Business Development Managers x2

We are looking for 2x Sales Executives/Business Development Managers – 1x Bristol/South Wales and 1x Birmingham/Midlands area – to focus on both current and new sales channels, promoting our patient transfer products and supporting, and supported by, our current Sales and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Visiting, managing and cultivating stakeholder/dealer relationships in the area.
  • Expanding coverage of the Silvalea product line.
  • Providing dealers with detailed product information as required.
  • Being the first point of contact for post-sales care.
  • Managing sales targets, forecasts and pipeline and providing monthly KPIs.
  • Working with existing Sales team supporting pre-sales activities.
  • Assisting with post-market surveillance reports.
  • Liaising with Marketing team for developing strategies and garnering specific, relevant details for case studies and promotional materials.
  • Collaborating with the Technical Lead to promote appropriate training for dealers, OTs and other stakeholders.
  • Keeping up-to-date with market trends and spot opportunities for business growth in line with the sales and marketing strategies.
  • Attending various exhibitions and events as appropriate, esp. The OT Show, annually in November.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort with presenting to internal and external stakeholders/dealers.
  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience of Salesforce or CRM systems would be advantageous.
  • Full driving licence (max. 6 points) as this role requires travel throughout the area.
