Description

Manufactured in structured COOLMAX® freshFX™ fabric the Silva Arm Support Sling helps to gain access to axilla area which is crucial for patient hygiene.

The Silva Arm Support will support and aid lifting gently reducing patient/carer handling which could cause end user discomfort. Designed specifically for bariatric handling.

This support can also be used during transfer or indeed provide support during surgical procedures.

COOLMAX® freshFX™  helps consumers stay cool, dry and odour free – all day long. The odour resistant antimicrobial effect on fabrics is achieved by use of a nonmigratory silver based antimicrobial additive that is incorporated into the fibre, imparting permanent effectiveness.

COOLMAX® freshFX™ fabric inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria on fabrics. In combination with moisture-management technology it delivers breathable garments that stay cool, dry and odour free - all day long.

Hoist compatibility
An appropriate hoist with the relevant SWL must be used for bariatric transfers, including the use of dual cassettes and overhead tracking.
