The Amputee Hammock Sling is suitable for amputee end users who are not comfortable in a divided leg sling. Shaping and comfort quilting to the lower edge provides a more comfortable and secure transfer. Popular with users with high or through hip amputations. Suitable for single or bi-lateral amputations. Offers full body support. To be applied on the bed. Also available with a commode aperture.

Available in three material types:
Polyester - Easy application. Glides and slides smoothly, dries quickly after washing.
Mesh - High density open weave mesh, durable, used for bathing as quick drying. SUITABLE FOR BATHING
Silva-Superfine® PLUS - High performance fabric offering superior comfort. SUITABLE FOR BATHING
Wash at 71°C
Tumble dry low heat (max 50°C)

The Functional Independence Measure (FIM) scale assesses physical and cognitive disability. This scale focuses on the burden of care – that is, the level of disability indicating the burden of caring for them.
